Dr. Henderson has her hands full with this amazing group of folks joining the Gilbert team this upcoming school year.

I am so very excited to be a part of the Gilbert family and to lead alongside Dr. Henderson.

Those of us coming on board this year are blessed to have such a deeply committed staff and community to welcome us as we all, collectively, ensure your kiddos are attending the greatest school in Walker County.

Start Time for Elementary Schools

All students will need to be in class by 7:30 this year. Students arriving after that time will be counted tardy and will need to be signed in at the front office by a parent.  Our doors will open at 7:00 am and breakfast will be served from 7:00-7:30.  Dismissal time has not changed. Buses and car riders will be dismissed at 2:15pm. The district will re-evaluate the start time after the first 9 weeks.

Doors open at 7:00 a.m.

Breakfast 7:00-7:30 a.m.

Students will be tardy at 7:30 a.m.

Dismissal will begin with announcements at 2:15.
