Our Mission
As the first public school in the United States to begin a forest kindergarten, we teach children to be critical, creative thinkers with a love for the natural world and an empathy for others.
Our Approach
Daily immersion in nature supports student growth in resiliency, understanding boundaries, and developing real‑world risk assessment and problem‑solving skills.
The Heart of Our Program
Our program focuses on building a community of peacemakers and caretakers who learn how to have empathy for others, respect for all living things, and responsibility for the earth.
Learning and Curriculum
As a public school, our forest kindergarten aligns curriculum with Georgia state standards to create young scientists, engineers, artists, mathematicians, and world‑changers.
