As the art teacher at GES, I strive to develop an interest in and love for artistic expression in my students. Students learn skills and techniques that aim to grow their aesthetic appreciation and build confidence in their own strengths and talents.
I love PE! I enjoy instilling the love of sport, competition, and activity in the students. My goal is to find activities that all students will enjoy, whether it be favorites like football and basketball or gymnastics and even Cornhole. There is an activity for everyone to enjoy. Half of the battle of keeping people active and healthy is finding the activity that they truly enjoy.
In the STEM classroom students are introduced to a multitude of science disciplines. Students work collaboratively with real-world applications to solve problems and learn to work through failures. In the STEM lab, students are encouraged to use critical thinking skills to demonstrate their learning in varied, challenging ways.
