Making a Difference, One Student at a Time

Volunteers are a vital part of the Gilbert Elementary School community. Your involvement — whether big or small — helps support our students, teachers, and school events. We’re grateful for every helping hand and heart willing to serve!

All volunteers must complete the Walker County Schools volunteer process before serving on campus or chaperoning field trips.

How to Get Started

  1. Complete the official Walker County Schools Volunteer Application.
  2. Attend any required orientation (if applicable).
  3. Sign in at the front office on the day of your visit.
  4. Wear your volunteer badge during your time at school.
  5. Follow school safety and confidentiality guidelines at all times.
