Transportation Changes

Notify the school whenever your child’s normal afternoon transportation plan changes.

  1. Send a written note whenever possible.
  2. Include the student’s name, teacher, date, and instructions.
  3. Contact the front office early for a same-day change.
  4. Do not rely only on a verbal message sent through a student.
Transportation changes must be received early enough for the office to notify the student and appropriate staff before dismissal.

Bus Safety

  • Arrive at the bus stop several minutes early.
  • Wait in a safe location away from the roadway.
  • Wait for the bus to stop before approaching.
  • Follow the bus driver’s directions.
  • Remain seated while the bus is moving.
  • Keep hands, feet, and belongings to yourself.
  • Keep the aisle clear.
  • Use a quiet voice so the driver can concentrate.
