Volunteer
Volunteering in your child's school could mean doing things such as helping with events, working duty free lunches for staff, or doing any small things a teacher may need like cutting out things, etc. Becoming a volunteer is something that is said to improve your student's learning. It also helps build trust and communication, and stronger relationships between your and your child's teacher. In other words, volunteering has a positive impact for everyone!
Parents/ Guardians wanting to volunteer and become more involved in their child's school just need to do these simple things:
- Fill out a volunteer interest form that comes home in the Annual Title 1 Packet at the beginning of the school year
- Attend the volunteer training that is planned by our Family Engagement Coordinator at the beginning of the school year
- Or contact the Family Engagement Coordinator to set up a training meeting that fits your schedule
